April 2nd was a lovely day; naturally this trial was held inside a rather smelly horse barn. Our class had a good turnout, and the dogs had a wonderful time with all the all-so-interesting horse scents.
CPE is a great venue, especially for beginners. This organization focuses on fun, and building a good relationship with your dog.
The course is set up for the Level 1 Standard run. Unfortunately, due to a error in sizing the course, the run is actually at a Level 3 difficulty.

Often described as a Border Collie in Lab clothing, Sophie is very enthusiastic, and is always a crowd-pleaser.
Humor the Cocker Spaniel, has his handler Joel hold his ribbons. Humor went on to earn many more ribbons throughout the trial.
A professional model, Nigel the Beagle has brains along with good looks. He also excels at Agility and Obedience, and he keeps his dad Ted very busy with classes and trials.
